Incisional Hernia: A Prospective Study

Abstract An incisional hernia is being a universal problem and topic of discussion worldwide. There no clear-cut guideline abdominal wall closure after major surgeries that can effectively prevent the occurrence hernia. We found out most patients presented with pain over previous surgery scar swelling. The defect was usually larger than 2 cm. Most postoperative complaint pain, seroma, hematoma formation. minimal recurrence rate onlay mesh repair in our setup.
